I love makeup so much. It really is such fun experimenting with different looks. It is the only thing that’ll never let me down and what I can turn to when I just want to escape from everything (besides my dog). I want it to be a part of my career someday. Hopefully.
On that note, I wish I was one of those girls who looks good without makeup but even if I didn’t need it, I’d still enjoy it. Guilty pleasure :)
I’ve always wondered why people look so forward to turning this age. What is so significant? In what way is it appealing? You can get alcohol, gamble, clubbing, big whoop. *eyeroll*
But for me it’s different. Today made me realized how blessed I am to have wonderful friends - even friends I haven’t seen in a while and family make me feel special when I don’t necessarily do. My 21st birthday made me realize that today is my day and I am surrounded by such loving people. It’s not about how extravagant you make it, the gifts you receive, how much you spend or go all out. It’s about spending time with those who matter most to you. This was by far the best birthday yet because I received the best gift of love. And I’ll take that over a Kate Spade bag anyday :’)
